In Winston-Salem, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across North Carolina, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Great little cafe/bar right in the corner across from Hanes Park. A jazz band played the night I was there. Very comfortable, trendy, cool downtown vibe going on in that area of town on the weekends especially. Good place to meet and talk with friends or a first date. Personable, friendly and helpful staff. I missed my chance to catch the band from the upstairs area where plenty more seating was located. Architecture was one of my favorite details about The Remedy and reminded me of a loft that would fit in downtown Baltimore. This is a place everyone in the area over 21 should come check out!

Racist vibes here Walking into this place, you’d think you’re in for a great experience β€” the dΓ©cor is cute, the coffee tastes good, and the space itself is genuinely inviting. But the vibe shifts fast depending on who walks in. As a Black customer, I couldn’t ignore the subtle side‑eyes, the overly watchful glances, and the difference in tone compared to how other guests were greeted.

Yes, coffee is good. Yes food is wonderful but the best thing about Remedy is their hustle and bustle. It feels alive, people talking, people working and people enjoying them selfs. Love the second floor where you can watch everyone else like you are God watching creation from heaven. To top it all off they have live music, what are you waiting on?

My wife and I were in town for an appointment and needed a place for breakfast. We went with Remedy Cafe and had a great experience. The lady at the register was new and still training but she did great and we were in no rush. We ordered a Banana Latte, Avocado Toast and a Cheese Croissant. Everything tasted great and came out very timely!

My husband and I had rented The Loft at Remedy for our gender reveal party. The service, food, and atmosphere were all great. I would highly recommend this for smaller events.
